I fell in love with photography years ago– and I mean, I fell hard. I became that girl that always had a camera with her. Like, everywhere. Naturally, this condition of mine only got worse once I had children. Two children to be exact– a little boy who wants to grow up to be just like his daddy, and a little girl who basically has the biggest blue eyes I’ve ever seen in my life. Life is just beautiful. Capturing genuine, true, love filled moments is intoxicating. Moments that only happen once. Moments that can & will only happen once.  I recently came across a quote that basically summed up my entire view of photography:

‘We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone’

Isn’t that what it’s all about? Remembering those tiny baby toes & fingers that you could have spent eternity kissing? Or the way you couldn’t even stop smiling during your first kiss as husband and wife? Life is beautiful. And I crave to capture every ounce of its beauty that I can.
