I fell in love with photography years ago– and I mean, I fell hard. I became that girl that always had a camera with her. Like, everywhere. Naturally, this condition of mine only got worse once I had children. Four children to be exact– my perfect human of a husband and I kind of have this 'yours, mine, and ours' thing going on, and it has filled my heart with more love than I thought could ever exist. Life is just beautiful. Capturing genuine, true, love filled moments is intoxicating. Moments that only happen once. Moments that can & will only happen once. I recently came across a quote that basically summed up my entire view of photography:
‘We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone’
Isn’t that what it’s all about? Remembering those tiny baby toes & fingers that you could have spent eternity kissing? Or the way you couldn’t even stop smiling during your first kiss as husband and wife? Life is beautiful. And I crave to capture every ounce of its beauty that I can.
